Hall Features:

¨       The Dexter Knights of Columbus Hall & Banquet Facility is available for your special event:   wedding, graduation, business luncheon, retirement, funeral luncheon, etc.  If you have a reason to celebrate, we have a place for you to celebrate in.  We are reasonable and flexible.

¨       No need to worry about the weather or about tables and chairs.  The building is equipped to accommodate up to 300 people with ample lighted parking.  We have a complete, commercial kitchen and a full-service bar area.

At the time of commitment to the event:

1.      The client will furnish a deposit of $200 to reserve the date for the event.

2.       A rental agreement will be signed by the Knights of Columbus representative and the client.  The rental agreement focuses on rental fees and security deposit as well as the proper use of the KofC hall.  If the tenant cancels, the deposit will be forfeited unless the hall is re-rented.  The tenant shall refrain from decorating the hall with anything that damages the facility.  The tenant will enclose all candles in a protective holder.  The tenant will clean-up after the event unless other arrangements are made with the management.  If tenant is serving alcoholic beverages, he/she will provide insurance and/or insured bartender(s).  No smoking is allowed in the building.

 

Thirty days before the event, the tenant will pay the balance of the rental fee as well as a security deposit that will be refunded within 30 days after the event.  The security deposit may be reduced if there is damage to the facility or missing/broken items.

Clean up involves taking trash/garbage out to dumpster, washing tables, stacking rented linen in one location, placing chairs upside down on tables. The client has one additional hour to clean up after the event or contract with the KofC to do the final cleaning at $.60 per person.   There will be an additional charge for excess cleaning (i.e.- glitter, candle wax, etc.).

 

The Hall will provide:

            60” round tables and upholstered chairs to accommodate the event as needed (up to 300 people).

            Banquet tables   (6’ and 8’) as needed.

            Refrigerator space and beer cooler;  access to kitchen for caterer serving station. (see below)

            Hall Monitor – for tenant needs or emergencies

 

The hall will provide (for an additional charge):

            Kitchen stoves, ovens, dishwashing machine                                                            $1.10 per person

            Fountain soft drinks (6 flavors/mix), bar napkins, 12 oz cups, pitchers, ice              $1.20 per person

            Place settings – dinner & salad plate, mug, water goblet, fork, knife, spoon $1.85 per person

                Place settings need to be scraped, rinsed and stacked in the kitchen after the event
